Chapter 8

Aurora exhaled as she had yawned and woke up. She looked around as she finally saw how Olivia and Madison were awake and they were busy with work. She groaned as she quickly got out of bed and got dressed instantly smelling coffee.

"This should be good. Being there on Monday and yet again seeing Logan. I saw the pictures you had posed from Saturday. And how you looked. Pretty dressed up. Just like now," Olivia said as she gave Aurora a cup.

"Guess I could use with getting out of the house. Although I don't want to see Logan. Not yet, at least," Aurora said.

"You'll be fine. Come on. Let's go," Olivia said as they got into the car and drove off.

Looking out of the window at the ten-minute drive that she had to endure, Aurora had thought of a lot of things. Mostly how she would take on the day, but also about Logan and how she would deal with her crush.

Logan looked as he and his friends and brother were outside of the college smoking as he saw how a small car approached them. The car had stopped, and he saw as Aurora had gotten out.

"I'll be right back," Logan said as he went towards the girls.

"Aurora," Logan said as Aurora had smiled, her knees feeling weak, and her heart nearly stopping.

"Hi, Logan. How are you?" Aurora asked, trying to be as polite as she could be.

"I'm good, how are you?" Logan asked.

"Tired. I slept over at some friends here in Richmond," Aurora said.

"Sit with us. It will be nice to have some company other than my classmates," Logan said as Aurora looked at Madison and Olivia.

"Go, we'll see you later," Olivia said as Aurora nodded and walked with Logan.

Aurora had walked into the classroom and immediately she had heard how the others were basically talking. She had to admit that she did miss that. The boys talking. Of course, she had sat with other guys in a classroom who were just as noisy as they were but somehow it sounded different than the voices of the IT tech students.

"Hey! There you are," Gabriella said as she got into the classroom.

"Gabby, hi. What's up?" Aurora asked as she got up and hugged Gabriella.

"Not much. Where were you this weekend? I messaged you and called. Did your phone die or something?" Gabriella asked.

"No, no. Um... I was with Noah on Saturday and Saturday night, and Sunday I slept over at Olivia's. And I left my charger at home idiotically. So basically, I just had to go and survive without my charger," Aurora said as she saw how her father walked into the classroom.

"Daddy, hi," Aurora said as Logan looked at the man who walked in.

The man was average height, but he could see the man was near to his 50's. He saw as the man had given his daughter a hug and handed her a charger.

"Don't forget thing again," Elijah said.

"Let me introduce you actually. This is Gabriella. And Logan Goldman. Gabby, Logan. This is my father, Elijah," Aurora said.

"Nice to meet you, Sir," Logan said, shaking his hand.

"Same, Logan. I'll see you later," Elijah said.

"Bye, Dad," Aurora said as he had left, and she sat back down.

"You know they are talking about giving us one lecturer next semester who will be on campus. They are doing a whole classroom. That will suck," Gabriella said as she packed out her computer.

"Bad for who, Gabriella? Maybe for you, because you despise coming into campus. Me on the other hand, it will be a blast. Come on. Let's get working," Aurora said.
