22th Period: Ruins of Lenora Institute

When Thursday morning came around I met the girls in Athena's dorm room as we went over the game plan one last time. During that time Athena's bodyguard stayed close by her side as she pretended not to listen to the conversation being exchanged between us.

The plan was simple once inside the building, we will systematically explore each room according to the layout depicted in these blueprints. Will use the flashlight to illuminate our path, while the rope will be used to assist us in crossing any unstable structures we might encounter. With these small cameras, we plan to document every inch of our exploration for future studying while we search for any clues related to the accident that ended Henry's father's life.

"We will search the entire building for any files that would explain the kind of work they were doing. Does everybody understand the plan?" asked Athena.

Soon after Athena gave her speech we made our way to Lenora Institute of Technology. Once we arrived we began to search through the building for any clues that could help us understand what happened that day.

Before embarking on our exploration for answers, the team had packed a variety of gear essential for such a venture. This included powerful flashlights to penetrate the dark, dust-choked rooms, and sturdy gloves to protect our hands while sifting through debris. I also brought along cameras for documentation, and my Devilan Notebook for jotting down any significant information we might find.

In addition the Springfield Sisters brought along a compact first aid kit for precautionary measures, and enough food and water to sustain us for the afternoon as we explored the unknown.

Athena prepared us mentally as she walked in front of us giving her speech of encouragement before the exploration could commence. Her eyes glinted with determination, reflecting the gritty resolve of her spirit.

"We stand on the precipice of the unknown, about to delve into the heart of a mystery that has lain dormant for far too long," Athena began, her voice steady and resonant in the still morning air.

She acknowledged the danger that awaited us, but quickly followed up with encouragement and confidence.

"Not to worry, the building has been abandoned for quite some time and we aren't likely to encounter any danger," she said.

She gestured to the decaying facade of Lenora Institute of Technology, her words bringing a sense of tangible reality to their mission.

"Lenora Institute of Technology may hold secrets, or it may hold nothing. But it is our duty to explore it, to document what we find, and to bring these truths into the light about what really happened to Jefferson E of the Eliwood House, a brilliant man and father," Athena concluded her speech, leaving the team feeling prepared and motivated.

We shared a collective nod, looking to Athena our leader and then to the looming ruin before us. There was no turning back now. The time to step into the heart of Lenora Institute of Technology had arrived.

We discuss potential scenarios after surveying the immediate area around us before formulating strategies to handle them. Once we had familiarized ourselves with the building's blueprint, ensuring we knew potential escape routes. Moreover, we reminded each other of the importance of remaining calm under pressure, and staying focused on our mission's objective. Despite the dangers and the eerie unknown that waited within, they steeled their minds to face whatever lurked in Lenora Institute of Technology.

The expedition team began their exploration starting from the ground level. The first room we stumbled upon appeared to be an administrative office. Dust-covered desks, faded paperwork, and antiquated computing equipment suggested that the place had not been disturbed for quite some time.

We then moved onto the second room which looked like a research lab. It was filled with toppled over microscopes, broken test tubes, and other scientific apparatus, alluding to the high-level research that once took place here.

The third room was a storage facility filled with shelves of files, boxes, and equipment. Some of the containers held remnants of classified information, while others were filled with broken technological devices that were far advanced for their time. As we descended to the underground level, the rooms took on a more ominous feel.

A large conference room lay in disarray with chairs scattered and a cracked projector screen. The next room was a smaller chamber, eerily silent and filled with data servers, now dysfunctional and covered in cobwebs.

The sister's from the Springfield House discovered a hidden room under the building. The final room they discovered before reaching the Harlow Chamber was the most unsettling. It was a containment room, its once-secured doors now flung open, the unknown entity it once held, long escaped.

This brought a chill to the team, as they realized they were stepping closer to the heart of the mystery. The detailed exploration of these rooms gave them a deeper understanding of the tragic incident that had occurred here, bringing them one step closer to unveiling the secrets of the Harlow Chamber.

We searched through the wreckage and that's when we discovered the vials. On the vials was written Alphus Formula. Lily of the Springfield House, the youngest of the sisters, grabbed the last 3 vials and placed them inside her bag.

"I don't know if this vial counts as a clue, but we can study it tomorrow in the science lab," said Clover of the Springfield House, the oldest of the sisters.

Soon after that we called it a day, and by the time we returned to my dorm room it was already lunchtime.

"Why don't you girls take a seat, and I'll prepare lunch for all of us," I said.
