23rd Period: The Incident at Garcinia Institute

The next morning I got up early and I headed to the science department. I met up with Athena and the Springfield Sisters. We studied the vials we found closely under a microscope, and I didn't know what we were looking for. I asked Clover of the Springfield Sisters if she knew what we're looking for, and she explained it to me.

"These vials contain a chemical of unknown origin. If we can determine what the chemical origin is then we can use that to determine what they were working on at the time," explained Clover of the Springfield House.

I still didn't understand what she was talking about. Then I looked at the clock on the wall.

"I'll catch you girls later. I need to return to my seat before class starts," I said as I returned to my seat in the front of the classroom.

When I reached my seat, I realized that I had forgotten my electronic textbook in my dorm room. I rushed across campus, and when I returned to the classroom. The professor wasn't happy with me being late again.

"Professor Gabriella, please give me a chance to explain why Henry is late to class," said Alyson with a smile on her face.

Alyson stood her ground, her voice steady.

"I believe Alyson is trying to cover up for her boyfriend who has poor management skills. He should be made to understand the rules," said Rosalina.

"With due respect, Rosalina, it's not fair to judge Henry on tardiness alone. Everyone has a rough day from time to time," Alyson said, her cheeks flushed.

"Alyson, this isn't about having a rough day. It's about being responsible. We all have the same start time, don't we?" said Rosalina.

While they exchange, starting as a mere disagreement, escalated into a full-blown argument, their words echoing sharply within the solemn walls of the classroom, while Professor Gabriella watched the spectacle unfold.

"Professor Gabriella, your student Henry has already been late for class twice this month," said Rosalina.

"Keep quiet and take your seat while I explain today's assignment to the class!" explained Professor Gabriella.

The professor talked for a while before starting the curriculum.

"Alright class! I'll be right back. I forgot to print out today's assignment. While you are waiting, I want everyone to take this time to study while I run to the teacher's lounge," said Professor Gabriella.

"Alyson, I need your help with something. I don't quite understand this science textbook in my Devilan Notebook. Here is why I don't like to use the app. On the brightside this device is great for note taking and communication with fellow classmates wouldn't you agree?" I asked.

"Don't worry about it, I'll give you a copy of my notes that I took the other day, and that should help you out," said Rosalina smiling.

"I know Roselina acts tough and can be a little rude at times. She really is a nice person. She might not act like it, but she really does care a lot about this class and its students," explained Alyson.

"Thank you, I appreciate the notes," I said.

Before I could even finish my sentence she sent me a copy of her notes through the bluetooth feature on her Devilan Notebook device. After receiving a copy of the notes in pdf format I returned to my seat. I began to study over the notes, while I was studying the notes I heard something shatter in the back of the classroom. When I turned around I noticed a strange gas coming from the back of the classroom where the sisters from the Springfield House were seated.

"Hey everyone I think my friends might have dropped something dangerous," yelled Alyson as she waved her hands.

The whole class rushed to the back of the classroom to save the 3 sisters. Without thinking Alyson, and I rushed to the back of the classroom. We grabbed Daisy, the middle child, and she was unconscious. We dragged her outside and waited for the rest of our classmates to make it out.

We waited outside the building for the chemical to clear up before returning to class. When we returned to the classroom thinking the chemical had completely cleared up. With the help of my classmates we carried the sisters from the Springfield House back into the classroom. We placed them on the floor, and as soon as they regained consciousness we started to question them. Around that time the professor walked into the classroom.

"That's enough, everyone settle down! Take your seat while I pass out today's assignment," said Professor Gabriella.

While she was passing out the assignments the sisters from the Springfield House began to wake up.

"Clover, Wait a minute. don't leave! What was that chemical we're all exposed to just a while ago?" asked Britney.

Britney of the Everdeen House is the kind of person who wasn't afraid to say what's on her mind. Before the girls could explain what the chemical was, we all started to feel a little dizzy. I tried to shake it off, but I wasn't able to, and just like that the rest of the class including me passed out. When I awoke, I found the rest of my classmates on the floor unconscious.

"My students, what happened? Whatever is going on. It seems to have affected everyone. I need to get all of you to the hospital as soon as possible," said Professor Gabriella as she helped each of us to our feet.
