Ylana POV
The dances for the pack’s middle and high school-aged kids were on the horizon. The middle school dance was actually just a day away.
The planning committee was in the ballroom, decorating the space. Ylana could feel the excitement in the air as the kids decorated the large Christmas tree placed on the stage.
The tree would need to be redecorated two more times. The high school kids would do so for their dance, and professionals would do it for the Christmas Day ball. After it was professionally decorated, members of the pack would begin to drop off presents for needy families.
Ylana looked over to the entrance of the ballroom to see a thin, blonde, curly-haired teenager coming in. “Lily? What are you doing here? There’s no meeting for your dance this week.”
Lily’s chocolate brown eyes scanned the ballroom. “I wanted to judge the decorations for the younger kids’ dance.”
Ylana held her clipboard to her chest. “You were part of that group only a year ago.”
