Chapter 46: Betrayal

Rowan POV

Rowan had started to doodle. He couldn’t get the room Indigo described out of his head. He knew he had been there before. Unfortunately, he wasn’t an artist, so every doodle came out wrong somehow. He wanted to get it right so he could show it to Ginger and compare it to her own memories.

Ginger was still toiling away at her task of looking for corrupted camera feeds on various paths to the Jersey Shore, Harkin was going through his lists to make a new one of what he believed would be the most likely suspects, Indigo had his eyes closed and was breathing as if he was meditating, and Lily was focused on a new book.

The books Lily chose to read didn’t make any sense to Rowan, she he asked, “Why are you reading about witchcraft? Do you plane on performing a spell to find Ylana?”
