A Useless Cloud

"How many hours has it been?" Enzo trudged through Sully's streets looking dreary. His eyes shifted to the man beside him and his frustration only grew worse. What Neven was saying, Enzo didn't know. He had already heard enough for his brain to even process more words at this point. So all he could do was stare at Neven's lips as they moved in their eternally endless motion.

"... As a matter of fact, there were less continents on Earth than there are now. The planet just got too big while expanding the land and eventually breaking it up into even bigger pieces. But I don't think Ansel island was broken out of those continents since it's, crazy enough, the only place on Earth that's right at the center of the humans and the animats. And that's because—

"Animats?! What about the animats?" Enzo's eyes suddenly shot open.
