Concubine Number 20
(Excerpt from the novel)
“I can’t believe you can hear me!” Alessandro said excitedly. “Finally.” He’d been wondering how long he was going to have one-sided conversations with the girl, but now it seemed that they could talk to each other at last.
‘Yes, I can hear you,’ I replied. ‘But who exactly are you?’ I asked for the third time, feeling my fear slowly getting replaced with mild irritation. It was one of my pet peeves. It always annoyed me when someone answered my question with another question.
Alessandro hesitated, not wanting to reveal his identity right away. “How about you?” he replied, diverting the topic back at her. “What’s your name?”
I scoffed at his statement, now flat out annoyed. The nerve of this guy to keep throwing the question back to me! ‘I’m 20,’ I replied with a sigh, giving in.

Alessandro had the strange ability to hear Na-ri’s voice when no one else could. He didn’t know that she was actually his lowest ranked concubine in the imperial palace – Concubine Number 20 – and that she had somehow been teleported from modern-day Seoul. She, in turn, had been delegated to the role of a servant and had no idea she had been talking to the emperor of Luxentfort Empire all along.
Can their mutual curiosity about each other gradually blossom into a romance strong enough to defy their social ranks – and transcend worldly boundaries?
Interesting concept! This was the first Female MC novel I read to "The End" (21chap) but I must say, it's good. Writing is smooth (at least for me), sometimes I laughed (😀), and in about thirty/forty minutes, I was on the End! Veterans may say you need to work harder or something and I may have just small terms for a Good Novel, but I think it's good! Continue with your hard work, Author! It's worth it! <3 😅 [*Clapping Emoji*]
So glad I started reading this story. It excellent and kept my attention. I read it from beginning without stopping until the chapters ran out. IT IS SO GOOD. I cannot wait for the next chapter! 💜
This is a super unique and interesting read. I am loving it. The author does a great job keeping you captivated and is exceptional at interacting with the readers. The passion and enjoyment of the author is quite evident while reading the story. I would highly recommend this to anyone who loves fantasy romance or even any romance genre. I look forward to the daily updates, as well as what the author adds at the end (in the authors notes) always so intersting and proof of extreme dedication. Great story, I promise you won’t regret reading and I am sure you won’t be able to put it down.
The storyline develops beautifully, and there's not too many twists
No wonder this book got contracted so fast! It's great everything! the way with words the plot the sentence structuring! I didn't find many mistakes in grammar but its normally very few per chapter! I like this I hope you do well author
