Chapter 130-The Final Battle, Part Two

"Hah…hah…hah…" Gaia pants as he continues to hobble away while still carrying Old-Man F's body, before dropping to the ground on one knee, "Damn, Flint's heavy for an old man!"

"Let me go! Let me go!" Khione cries as she continues to flail against Ana's grip.

"Khione, please!" Ana pleads, her arms locked around Khione's shoulders, "I know how you feel, but Master Flint is DEAD, we can't help him!"

"It's not THAT!" Khione spits as she peers back at Ana out of the corner of her eye, "We left Noah all alone! We need to help him!"

Everyone else's eyes widen.

All except for Mary, who's busy squinting at the setting sun above.

"Guys…do you see that…?"

Ana and Gaia peer over to where Mary is looking, watching what appears to be a flaming comet off in the distance flying towards them.

Everyone's eyes widen.

"GUYS, WE NEED TO MO-!" Gaia begins to shout, but before he can finish, the comet CRASHES to the ground, kicking up a cloud of dust.

Once the dust settles, there stands Prometheus, with a sorrowful yet angry expression on his face.

Gaia places Flint's body on the ground while Ana lets go of Khione, and the two resume their Charge Stances.

"Maybe you two can give me the satisfaction I need…" Prometheus sighs as he holds a hand out to Ana and Gaia.

"DIE!"

A rush of flames EXPLODE from Prometheus' hand before Ana and Gaia could even cast their spells, grander than they've ever seen before.

But before the four E-Chargers are roasted alive, what appears to be a water-soaked comet crashes to the ground in front of them, in a cloud of smoke.

Once the smoke settles, there Noah stances, glaring daggers at Prometheus with his fangs bared.

"How many times do I have to tell you…"

"-TO LEAVE MY FUCKING FRIENDS ALONE?!"

***

A few minutes prior…

"AH!" I gasp as my eyes shoot open.

"DAMN, THAT WAS A CLOSE ON-" I exclaim, but when I notice that Prometheus isn't standing before me, I look around.

"Wait, where'd he go?"

A whiff of burnt corpse infects my nistroils, causing me to gag.

"EW, what is that sme-?" I begin to ask as I turn around to where I smelled the stench, spotting a charred-black corpse behind me.

"WAH!" I cry as I leap backwards.

But then, when I notice a few uncharted locks of white hair, my eyes widen.

"Wait a minute, is that…MEEE?!?!"

I then peer down to my body, where I see that my flesh, clothes, and all are transparent.

"Am I…dead…?"

I then look up to the sky, where I see the sun has begun to set.

"The sun wasn't setting before…?" I say, "The last thing I remember was telling Prometheus that I don't mind collecting a few more burn scars, and then…"

My voice trails off.

"Everything after that…is blank…"

Before I can freak out anymore, I hear a strange yet familiar voice.

"Wait, who said that?!" I cry as I frantically look around.

The voice says something again.

My eyes widen.

"GOD OF WATER?!" I cry.

I then pause.

"No…" I sigh, "I knew it all along. My friends tried to hide it from me after I went on a rampage, but I had a sneaking suspicion all along…ever since I fought Prometheus…"

The voice says something again, causing me to perk up.

"A…test…?" I stammer, "I-I see…so all of this was a test to see if I could earn my way back to being the God of Water?"

The voice confirms my suspicions.

"So what happens when I complete my test?" I ask, "When will I kill Prometheus and prevent the Elemental Apocalypse."

The voice answers my question.

I frown and look towards the ground.

"I see…that makes sense…"

"DAMMIT!" I then shout as I stomp my foot against the ground, "Dammit, I was so close! If I had just one more chance…then I could have DEFEATED Prometheus!"

I then look towards the sky.

"PLEASE!" I beg, "This isn't about me wanting to complete my test or earn my way back into heaven! Please…just give me one more chance so that I can STOP Prometheus and save my friends!"

The voice replies.

"Because…now I know who I am!" I boom, "And now…I KNOW that I can Infinity Charge!"

The voice says one final line.

"Th-thank you…" I softly say.

I then look back down towards my body, and see that my clothes and flesh are no longer transparent.

I then look back up with a confident smirk.

"Now…IT'S TIME TO GO STOP PROMETHEUS, ONCE AND FOR ALL!"

I pause.

"Wait a minute, was that-?!"

***

I hold a hand out to Prometheus and fire off a blast of water which counters Prometheus flames.

"Deja vu, much?" I smirk.

Prometheus' eyes widened. "How are you alive?!" He cries.

"I have the TRUE God on my side!"

Prometheus smirks.

"So…do you know who you are now, God of Water?"

"Yeah," I smirk back, "God of Fire."

Prometheus and I stare one another down for a moment, and then, a huge torrent of water and rush of flames EXPLODE from our bodies, and rise into the air.

"Guys," I say as I peer at my friends out of the corner of my eye, "Get as far away from us as you can. I don't know if I'll be able to hold back my destruction."

My friends nod, and Gaia scoops up Old-Man F's body, then hustles away.

"KICK HIS ASS, NOAH!" Ana happily screams.

"I think I'll finally admit that you're a bit stronger than me," Gaia smirks, "A BIT."

"Save the world…Noah…" Mary smiles.

"Noah," Khione sternly says.

"Yeah…?" I ask as I turn to face Khione with a small smile.

Tears well up in the corners of Khione's eyes, and she looks down, trying to hide her tears.

"WIN."

I smile at Khione.

"I will."

As I turn back to face Prometheus, Khione begins to hustle away.

"Are you ready to finish this, little brother?" Prometheus smirks.

"Yeah…" I smirk back, "Let's end this…ONCE AND FOR ALL!"

"-GOD PERSONA"
