Alastair leads the three of them down the stairs since he can already hear his sister loudlymaking negative remarks about the cafe. This, as it turns out, was the right call, given he is bombarded the second he is visible to her and Azazel.


Virdia tips over her chair as a result of standing up so fast. She sets her sights on Alastair and marches toward him. Alastair raises his hands in apology, but instinctively backs away when he realizes her eyes are glowing red. Her voice sounds louder than it should naturally when she speaks.


“I knew it! I knew you’d just run right back here!” she storms, chasing him into a corner and grabbing him by his shirt. “You know when I told you to sleep with someone, I didn’t mean the only person on EARTH our parents would CARE about you sleeping with! You could have ANYONE, Alastair! Do you even CARE what happens to us?!” she rages, her power in tiling more fear in him than it normally would.
