Chapter 39: My Boyfriend Girlfriend

The location Virdia picked out for them was the very cafe that they’d been at when Azazel had pitched VLOOD to him. It’s strange to recall their lives then in comparison to now. So much had changed in so little time.

Virdia also called on their drive over to inform Alastair of the details of their little play. Oliver and he would have some time to chat and then Virdia and Azazel will just happen to walk in and notice them. Easy enough.

“Have fun, Daisy,” Virdia coos with some amusement before ending the call.

“Daisy?” Alastair questions as they park on the street.

“Oh! Oh my god, that’s me,” Oliver laughs, he trills his voice up higher before continuing. “I’m Daisy,” he informs with a grin.

“It’s cute,” Alastair confirms, leaning in to give ‘Daisy’ a kiss. When he pulls away, Oliver is grinning so much Alastair wonders if it hurts.

“What is it?” Alastair asks.
