Oliver falls asleep the second he is seated in Alastair’s car. The valet staff had long since abandoned their jobs, so it took a while for everyone to locate their keys and vehicle.
Oliver sleeps through the drive back to Alastair’s to pick up Hyacinth and his things. He almost sleeps through the shower Alastair piles them both into. The only indication that he’s not unconscious is the occasionally pleased hum Alastair receives as he gently scrubs the blood from both of them.
Alastair frets that Oliver may have overdone himself, but it is well into the middle of the night on top of it being a traumatizing evening to begin with. Not to mention Alastair hasn’t met a person with the ability to fall asleep and stay asleep like Oliver. Alastair is convinced Oliver could sleep comfortably on a highway median.
Either way, Alastair attempts not to panic and focuses on getting them both clean and comfortable above all else.
