*BONNIE’S POV*
Before Bonnie got behind the wheel of her car, Marcus had helped her tuck her hair into the hood of her borrowed sweatshirt. Although a good portion of her face was hidden by the thick material, he even lended her his sunglasses to hide her remaining features, just in case.
She noticed the warmth that had spread through her chest and hastily followed him out to the parking lot. He gave her one last enticing glance that beckoned for her to follow. Her breathing grew shallow.
Bonnie shook her head and turned the key into the ignition.
“I can’t believe I’m really doing this,” she said out loud.
She shook her head and turned to pull out into the street, completely unaware of the two sets of eyes that peered out of the glass doors of the agency.
