The ride back to The Mad House felt longer than usual, but Bonnie chalked that out to due to her emotions finally settling down. Unfortunately, that opened the doors to all of the other unpleasant feelings that she had previously suppressed in order to unleash her anger out on her agent.


Her stomach swam in a grotesque sea of guilt, shame, and just plain old pain. She silently wrapped her arms around herself and counted down the minutes until she could be alone with her thoughts. And it wasn’t as though she was looking forward to that experience either, but she agreed that she had reached her limit for ‘public outbursts’ for the day and simply wished to be alone.
