Chapter 45: Taken

*BONNIE’S POV*

Bonnie’s lungs were robbed of the air that they desperately needed in order for her to form a proper sentence, let alone comprehend the sight that stood before her.

Julius Princeton, wearing his usual button up dress shirt and dark blue pants, and nothing more than his deluded smile, stood calmly in her doorway with a glimmer of excitement in his eyes. Those same hollow eyes that she somehow once found attractive.

Her stomach churned at the thought of ever being with someone like him in the first place. Granted, Marcus wasn’t necessarily a far cry off from where Julius stood on the danger scale, but the man at least came with some set of morals.

‘Jesus Christ, how did he even know I was here?’ she asked herself.

Bonnie quickly remembered the comment Wolfgang had made about Julius having several, mindless people to do his bidding. Chances were that someone else had been watching her dorm room and immediately informed Princeton of her whereabouts.
