Chapter 18: A Past Unforgotten

“Willow, wait!” Lilith cried, though her progress was hampered by the morning sun. She was stuck inside of Willow’s broken clinic, unable to leave while Willow strode to the sidewalk.

“Stay there!” Willow returned. “This isn’t your problem!”

“Like h*ll it is!” Lilith returned. “Willow, please just wait! We can figure this out! At least let me get a few friends of mine, they can help you! Will you please stop being so stubborn and let me do this for you?!”

At that, Willow paused as the familiar flame of anger filled her soul before she continued to march forward, ignoring Lilith’s cries. She hated this. She hated when people “helped” her.
