Chapter 7: A Gap.

It took Aza'zel a lot of time to coordinate the locations from Rust's memories with the most recent geology of the Lower Abyss. However, once he was done, he immediately started marking out the most likely locations to contain these mines.

He focused on the southwest area as it ran directly in opposition to the Evil Ground and Brinx, meaning that he would continue to distance himself from the center of conflict as he searched the land for resources.

Just as he was about to finish, Wendy walked in through the door, a glass of wine in each of her hands. From the smell of it, it was both weak and cheap when compared to the wine provided in Brinx, but it was quite the luxury back here.

"What have you been up to all this time?"

Wendy asked, curiously observing the maps with a flare in her eyes. Although she brought up the expansion topic, she had yet to settle on a general direction, especially after she learned about Aza'zel requesting maps.
