This Little Fox

Lucia felt her body heat up. She remembered his kisses on her skin, his tongue on her lips, his hands on her curves. She felt more embarrassed just thinking about it. "You pervert! How dare you say that?"

Callum laughed and said, "There's nothing wrong with that. Anyways, I've said what I've said, but you haven't answered my question yet."

He waited for her to tell him her age, but she remained silent. He almost rolled his eyes. He thought women were so hard to understand.

"OK, scratch that. Hobbies then. Come on, don't tell me that's also rude."

Lucia thought for a moment. "Skygazing."

Callum smiled, "That totally suits you."

Lucia looked at him "What's that supposed to mean?"

"Well, you have the most beautiful eyes I've ever come across," he whispered, "and those eyes are only meant to look at pretty things... just like the stars in the night sky you adore so much."

Lucia blushed hard as his words brushed past her ears like a gust of wind. Her heart skipped a beat but she refused to look back at him.

She continued walking ahead, feeling his eyes on her, not paying attention to where she was going. In her distraction, she nearly tripped, but just in time, a pair of strong arms encircled her slender waist. Lucia gasped as she felt Callum's body heat and caught a whiff of his enticing scent.

Look at how careless you are," Callum said in a low and seductive voice.

Too embarrassed to say or do anything, she simply mumbled a thank you. Their positioning felt a bit intimate, with Callum's tall frame towering over her. Lucia felt her breath hitch, realizing the closeness of their position. She tentatively placed her hand over his large one, but he didn't budge. Lucia tried again, and this time, his grip tightened around her waist.

"Lucia," he called out her name softly.

Lucia shut her eyes as she felt his lips brush against her ear. She wanted to push him away, but she also wanted to pull him closer. She was confused by her feelings.

"Don't. We're on the road. Let's hurry up before we meet another batch of crazy people with guns"

Lucia found this excuse handy, and Callum released his hold on her. She wasted no time, walking fast as if her legs were on fire. She wanted nothing more than to put some distance between them. She didn't understand why her body was reacting the way it did, reminding her of that intimate moment in the dark room.

Meanwhile, Callum exhaled, trying to calm himself. His body was reacting in a way that made it hard to focus. Watching Lucia walking briskly, he sighed, thinking, "This little fox, how can she just ignite a fire and then run away?"

Callum closed his eyes and continued walking. Feeling frustrated ustration and amused.

Lucia walked ahead of him, trying to put some distance between them. She couldn't help but wonder how their conversation about hobbies had led to this intense situation.

After walking in silence for a while, Lucia finally arrived at the dark road. Taking a deep breath, as she tried to brace herself for the darkness. She hated this road. As well as the shadows and the noises.

Callum finally arrived now standing beside her, "What are you waiting for?"

Lucia looked at him and blushed again. "I was just...you know...waiting for you." She shut her eyes as she scolded herself silently for sounding too intimate.

Callum smiled, enjoying every bit of this. "OK, let's go."

He moved ahead, seeing that Lucia quickly followed him, like a pet. Not wanting to be left alone.

They walked on the dark road, surrounded by trees and silence. The only light came from the stars above them.

Suddenly, a gust of wind blew, making the leaves rustle. Lucia heard a strange sound, like a growl. She got frightened and walked faster, bumping into Callum's back.

Callum stopped and almost laughed. He felt her body pressed against his back. "What was that?"

Lucia felt embarrassed and scared. "I was just trying to make sure you didn't run off."

Callum turned around and looked at her. He saw her eyes wide and her lips parted. He felt a surge of desire and affection once again.
