Lucia groggily opened her eyes, rubbing them as she stretched lazily. She blinked at Rose, who was smiling brightly. "What exactly did you do last night that I woke up earlier than you today?" Rose asked, raising an eyebrow.
"I worked a lot yesterday. We had a lot of customers," Lucia mumbled
"Ooh, you poor thing. Now hurry up, I decided to bless you with food cooked with these precious hands," Rose said, pointing at her manicured fingers.
"I'm good, I don't want to end up with a running stomach," Lucia said, grimacing. She remembered the last time Rose cooked for her. It was a disaster. They both almost ended up in the hospital.
Rose inhaled sharply, placing her hand on her hips. "Get up now, before I change my mind. Or you'll regret it," she said, before walking out of the room.
