Lucia smiled back at her grandma, but her mind was elsewhere. She couldn't stop thinking about Ann. 'Who was she? Where did she go? And why did no one else see her?'
She sat down on a chair next to her grandma's bed, as she watched her eat the pasta that grandpa had sent. She didn't want to ruin the mood, but she couldn't help but ask, "Grandma, why did you do that today? Did something happen?"
The old madam paused just as she was about to place the fork in her mouth. She looked at Lucia with a small smile, "I just wanted to feel like a kid again, you know. Running around, having fun, being free."
Lucia doubted her. "Grandma, why would you do that? You know you have a bad knee."
Her grandma chuckled, "I'm sorry, Lucia. I promise not to do that again. It was a silly thing to do. I guess I was just feeling bored."
Lucia shook her head, "Grandma~"
