He wound up the car window, stepped out, and shut the door behind him. After pressing the key fob to confirm the car was locked, he turned to Lucia. "Right, shall we?"

Lucia nodded. "Yeah, let's go."

Bradley easily flagged down a cab, and they both got in. As the cab began to move down the road.

The car ride was silent. Bradley, seemingly restless, fidgeted with his fingers. Finally, he broke the silence. "Did you have a good time tonight?"

Lucia glanced toward him, her eyes softening. "It was good, to say the least."

A playful smile tugged at Bradley's lips. "So, am I getting a 5-star rating or 4?"

Lucia held back her smile, her eyes dancing. "A 4.5. I wouldn't want you to get too cheeky."

Bradley laughed, the sound warm and genuine. "Well, that's a first. Hearing that from someone."

Lucia leaned back in her seat, her tone teasing. "Isn't there always a first time for anything?"
