Oscar watched her leave, a smirk playing on his lips. "She's definitely teasing me. They always come back. No one can resist my charm," he boasted to himself, adjusting his collar with a confident flick.
He stood up, his gaze fixed on a table across the room where Lucia and Bradley were finishing their meal. As he approached, he leaned over their table with a suave, "Hello there."
Lucia, startled by his sudden appearance, almost choked on her food. Bradley quickly passed her a glass of water, a look of concern appeared on his face.
As she sipped the water and placed the cup down, she realized that it wasn't her glass she had drunk from. Did I just drink from his cup? That can be considered an indirect kiss, she thought, her cheeks turning a deeper shade of red.
Bradley rose from his seat, alarmed by her sudden change in color of her face. "Are you alright?"
