From a young age, Shay loved archery. For years he and his father have been at odds because Shay refuses to give up his love of archery to appeal to his father's whim. His mother has tried to mend their relationship to no avail. So, tired of his father ignoring him, Shay left his younger sister, Mallory's, birthday celebration to hang out with his crush, Noah. Something happened in the woods that separated him and Noah, but Shay doesn't remember anything. He wakes up on the couch of his mother's ex-best friend.
