Signal

"I hope you made yourself feel like home." He said from behind. Ren turned to look at him without a uniform on and fresh out the shower. Yoongi just had some simple grey sweatpants with a white t-shirt and that just looked so fine on him. She tried not to bite her lip as he dry his hair with his towel.

"Oh, yeah. It's pretty big and you have a pool in the back too." Ren tried to take her eyes off of him.

Yoongi smiled and said. "I know. I try to use it but I just get to busy in my job."

She nodded her head and looked away.

"You want to shower? While, I cook something for the both of us." He offered with a smile.

Ren nodded and headed to the bathroom. She took her phone with her so he wouldn't go through her stuff. Ren decided she would charge it when it was safe enough to be charged. Yoongi cooked some food for them and Ren washed her clothes the old fashion way, in the bathtub. She hanged it up for it to be dry hopefully by tomorrow morning. Ren came out the bathroom with her towel around her body.

"Hey, you got a shirt I can use for tonight?" She questioned him.

Yoongi was so shocked to see her like that that it made him forget to speak.

Ren chuckled. "So, that's a no?"

Yoongi stuttered. "Oh, no. I m-mean I-i got some in my closet. Um... I-i just don't know what you want. I'll let you choose."

He showed her his room and went to his closet. Yoongi backed away and scratched the back of his head. Ren saw how red he was and she couldn't help but smile.

"Um, I'll go check on the food." Yoongi immediately left the room.

"This dude so shy. To bad he doesn't want any girl." Ren whispered as she got a plain white t-shirt and put it on. "This dude has a 6-pack to show to no one." Ren chuckled as she thought.

She quickly rushed to the bathroom to get her phone and connect it to Yoongi's charger.

"Aren't you going to dry your hair?" He asked trying not to look at her.

Ren looked down to her straps of hair that was dripping onto the shirt. She pushed her hair back and said. "I do the natural way."

He nodded his head and served her food.

"If you want me to. I can." She suggested.

"No, it's fine. I thought it would bother you that your hair is dripping onto your shirt."

"It's your shirt not mine." She chuckled and smiled at him.

He sat down and said. "I'm assuming you are used to men."

"What do you mean?" Ren tried to understand his assumptions.

"You seem very comfortable with me."

"Yeah, I'm more of a tomboy. I like men very much and they're cool." She informed him.

He scratched his nose a little before eating again.

"I see you ain't used to being around girls that much."

Yoongi said. "At my job I am."

"But like actually hang out with girls." Ren smiled grew.

Yoongi nodded and said. "I'm more of a shy guy."

"Until, you get on the field."

Yoongi stood up to fix his tv. "Yeah, sorry. It's raining to hard outside and when it does the signal just gets to bad out here."

"What? Really?" She recalled her phone.

"Yeah, you have to wait until no rain or wind is interrupting around here." Yoongi looked annoyed.

"It's fine. I don't really watch a lot of tv." Ren informed him.

He came back to sit down. "Do you really live in the streets?"

Ren smiled and said. "You're doing it again."

"What?"

"Investigating me."

Yoongi sighed. "Sorry, I'm so used to interrogating people but you should answer. You don't want me thinking something bad about you."

"Why? Will you arrest me?" Ren tested him again.

Yoongi said. "I'll arrest anybody that does crime."

"What if it was your parents?" Ren asked as maybe he would hesitate but she was wrong.

"If I had to turn them in for wrong doing. I would." Yoongi didn't hesitate and she was kind of scared of him. He wouldn't hold back on anyone. This just made it clear that he was very dangerous to the border and that he was going to be a target soon.

"Are you ok?" Yoongi asked as he noticed her eat slower.

"Aren't you scared of getting killed?" Ren blurted out.

"I been in many accidents and look at me."

"Else where. Not here." Ren reminded him.

Yoongi shrugged. "I'm down to see what these people got in store for me."

Ren eyebrows rose and realized he was messing with the wrong people. "I don't know if I'll be able to make it to your funeral." Ren joked.

Yoongi sighed. "I'm sure no one would go until late at night."

"What? Why?" Ren was very confused.

"People will probably take my body out the coffin to torture it. Make me pay for everyone's love ones."

"And you think this job is worth all of this?" Ren questioned him.

"I'm doing my job for both of the counties safety."

Ren rolled her eyes and walked away.

"See that's why I thought you were the girl the border patrol was looking for earlier. You defend these immigrants." Yoongi sounded so disappointed.

Ren tried to hold in her words. "I'm not going to talk about these people with you. Obviously, we don't think alike."

Yoongi sighed. "You don't respect my job."

Ren looked at him insane. "You don't respect immigrants."

"They don't have rights like U.S.A citizens." He blurted out.

Ren bit her tongue and went outside.

Yoongi looked at her crazy and went after her. "Are you crazy?! Get inside! You're getting all wet!!" He yelled from inside.

Ren tried to ignore him with her eyes closed before she did something she would regret later on.

Yoongi went outside to try to pull her back inside but she was strong.

"Don't touch me. Leave me alone!" Ren shouted at him.

Yoongi grew impatient and carried her back inside.

"Put me down! What's wrong with you?!" Ren pushed him away.

"Me?! What's wrong with you?! You're crazy for going out there! You're going to get all sick!"

"Who cares?!"

"I do!"

"If you did you wouldn't say stupid things to get me mad!"

Yoongi sighed in frustration and put a towel around her. "I think you need sleep."

"No, I think you need to go back to Korea."

Silence took over Yoongi and guilt built over her.

"I'm sorry. I shouldn't had said that..." Ren grew embarrassed and Yoongi nodded his head.

"You're probably right. Maybe, I should go back. I can't even catch this one simple girl and my resume is looking like a whole bunch of lies now."

"You should let her go. I'm sure Jose told on her for a very bad reason."

Yoongi didn't like where this was going again.

"What if he tried to rape or do something and that's why she did it? Then what? Would you still arrest her and let him go?"

"I would arrest them both."

"What?!"

"Yeah, she shouldn't had been crossing people over in the first place."

Ren back fired. "When you get murdered, people will sure say "Yoongi shouldn't had been locking people up in the first place."

"Well, I get thanked a lot at my job."

"Oh! I believe you." Ren said walking past him to get her phone.

"What are you doing?" Yoongi asked.

"I'm checking who will come pick me up from this prison." Ren informed Yoongi as she texted J-hope to come pick her up.

"Wow." Yoongi sighed and Ren said. "Goodnight!"

"You're sleeping here?" Yoongi questioned her.

"Go away please. I'm going to sleep and I don't want to argue with you anymore." Ren begged him.

Yoongi walked away with a fake smile and went to his room. It made him sad that not even Ren liked him and all cause of his job.
