CHAPTER SIX

Moans filled the room, mingling with the smacking of skin as Kira struggled to keep herself composed while Reagan pounded into her with fervor.

He was unbelievably large, stretching her to the max. Sometimes she wondered if he even realized the incredible size he has, given how intensely he thrust into her without holding back.

He firmly gripped her hips, using them to hold her in place as he thrust into her from behind, her body bent over the table. The raw intensity of their connection and the primal nature of their sex sent a series of pleasure coursing through her. He finally released himself into her with one final hard thrust before withdrawing and settling into a chair, his face still covered by the mask as usual.

Intrigued, she couldn't help but wonder what his face looked like behind the mask he always wore. Yet, fear held her back from being too curious, knowing that seeing his true face would bring about her death. His curse was too strong, and the moment she laid eyes on his bare face would be the end of her journey.

All her life, she wasn't sure who he truly was or what he really looked like. What if he was an ogre, a beast, or something terrifying? Nobody truly knew. The king she had devoted herself to for years could be anything. But one thing she knew for sure was her love for him, even though she understood it would never be returned. He was a mysterious man who didn't seem to have any emotions. Love, anger, or hatred were things he had never possessed. He was always cold, as cold as ice.

Not only was she there to warm his bed, but she was also an exceptional warrior. A respected grand general who had led many battles and never lost one. She was fast, skilled, and powerful. Although she had some magical abilities inherited from her Vedan background, she preferred to rely on her physical strength and rarely used her magical Vedan abilities unless absolutely necessary.

Addressing her king with respect, Kira informed him, "I have ordered our men to search the land for the girl. I will keep you informed if they find any promising leads. However, considering the kingdom's hatred for Vedans, their chances of success are slim. It's hard to believe a Vedan girl could thrive here." Pausing for a moment, uncertainty colored her words, "Perhaps the old woman's prophecy missed its mark this time."

He directed his gaze to her, staring coldly, and she immediately gulped, regretting her words. She could tell from the change in his demeanor that he didn't like what she had just said. Her pulse quickened, and she lowered her eyes, unable to look him in the eye.

"The old woman is never wrong," he said, his voice deep and powerful enough to send fear through the heart of the bravest men. His tone was measured, commanding nothing but respect.

"I am aware, Your Majesty," Kira replied, taking a m step closer. She clasped her hands in front of her to steady herself. "Perhaps we need to search beyond this kingdom's borders."

As he stood up, his figure towered over Kira. The size and presence of him made her take a step back, her heart pounding in her chest. She bit her lip, not wanting to get on the wrong side of the king.

"Find her," he commanded. With that, he turned and walked away, leaving Kira with  fear and determination to find the girl.

That was the main reason he came to Konica. A powerful old seer from the dragon king's kingdom "Drakonia" had prophesied about a woman who held the key to conquering the challenge they had waiting ahead.

The seer described this woman as someone as blind as a bat, having a complexion as pale as freshly fallen snowflakes under the moon's gentle touch. Her flowing hair was as radiant as silk, and she is in a distant kingdom.

For months, they tirelessly searched through various kingdoms to find this woman. It never crossed their minds to look in Konica, knowing that women with the features the seer described are vedans, they know vedans are not welcomed in a lot of Kingdom especially kingdoms like "Konica" where they are often killed immediately after birth . But then, a thought struck them. Perhaps what they were seeking was hidden in the most unexpected of places. With that in mind, they embarked on their quest to explore Konica with hopes that they might actually find the woman there.

She alone possessed the key, holding the power to release an extraordinary force to help in the upcoming battle. She was Reagan's only hope for victory in a battle where mortals, gods, otherworldly beings, and demons would fight for their destinies.

According to the seer, only she had the ability to release the mighty force of the dragon ZARATHUS, the eternal flame, freeing it from it's prison.
