The Statue took on the offensive once Harvard got close. It would utilize the earth to push itself back in such a fluid motion, allowing its body to arc in order to raise a knee and stun him, but Harvard would react by having one of the limbs strike at the earth, pushing him to the side with one, and having the other push him forward. Despite being at the advantageous position, the Statue was well-prepared for this. It would curve itself once it lets go of the ground, allowing its other arm to go for a sweep from under, aiming for the boy's chest. Harvard would have the limbs block, but the Statue would use this as follow-up, stopping itself so as to grab ahold of the arms and pull him closer, allowing it to deliver another knee to try and break the arms with the impact alone. Recognizing he was being held down, Harvard would strike alongside with the animated construct, lunging one of the Stone arms to the knee, lightning crackling like mad as it connects.
KRACC!!
The Impact would break apart the entire arm itself, as well as severely damaging the knee alongside, witnessing more of such flesh being broken apart. Just as his excitement was being prevalent..
KRACC!!
The Statue followed up once again, having the leg open up in order to deliver a powerful kick directly into the Card Magician's chin, cleanly lobbing off the lower mouth and aiming to strike at the Palate's, the aura changing colors into a solid blue. Vishuddha was being triggered. The Card Magician braced for impact, allowing two more arms to try and block the next strike, timing his own hands once he regained control of his body, staring down at the attack with conviction once more. The Statue can tell the boy was going to go for an offense, yet it still pushed onwards. As the leg extended and the kick was delivered, it would destroy both arms on impact, the power of Vishuddha somehow enhanced further through the stonework. The boy can't tell what exactly was happening that gave such a ludicrous boost, yet he still came prepared. Right as the kick was touching the tip of his hard Palate, he'd strike on instinct, lunging both of his hands towards the leg itself, piercing through and gripping the appendage, preventing it from moving further. He would cast a spell through his claw-like hands, enabling a lock directly onto the structure, breaking down the Chakra so it becomes easier to pierce through, allowing his talon-like fingers to sink deeper. He'd plant his feet on the ground and recoiled back his head, throwing the Statue across the area, scraping its rocky skin through the dirt, before ripping off the body part altogether, cutting off one half of Muladhara as a result. He can notice his left leg came straight back afterwards, sporting the standard Ibex fur and bone marrow for one of his boots
Harvard would throw himself once more towards the Statue, not allowing it to have a chance of relief. The hulking Statue would try to utilize his momentum once more, curving itself in order to do a strong sweep, kicking through the dirt itself and scattering it across the terrain. As Harvard regrew his mouth back, he'd set up his claws to try and split the very wave of debris coming for him, before setting up another spell alongside with striking at the Statue using one of the arms, letting its ice began to seep in and invade on his right, trying to break it apart just the same. As he did so, the Statue would utilize Manipura to defend itself, using the slim barrier to be hardened once it was on contact. Harvard was expecting such a result to occur, having the spell he prepared to be through the frozen arm: Knives, once more. Metal upon Metal began to grow and stab straight outwards, attempting to pierce the barrier once again, but something was different in this second attempt: It failed. Because of the quick reaction to trigger Manipura, the Ice itself took priority, freezing over the barrier and granting it another layer, protecting it by the frost. The boy scoffed as he realized he helped make the situation worse, with the statue taking this advantage and going further to his grasp, letting it freeze over and make another layer, trapping both of them in a single stance. The Card Magician's options were starting to get limited, yet even with such restrictions, he hasn't lost his smile just yet, allowing one of his hands to take the next attack head-on while doing such a gamble.
SHIKK!!
The Arm was completely lobbed off, the frozen appendage chopped like it barely had any effect. Harvard would use such an arm to scale up and try to strike the Statue in the chest, yet the Construct would try and react by having the loose arm be tipped slightly off balance, so that it can use both of its arms to barrage the boy directly. With such a minimal gap for error, it was a direct hit on his sides, with some even being able to break his fingers and wrist of his right hand, destroying the very talons of Rasca and making it in need of recovery. The boy, however, remained determined, as he would cast one more spell to throw the hulking stonework off-course. "Gotcha..." He'd state mid-barrage, feeling his body being pummeled before casting such magic: A Seal. A Seal that would be made around its very arms, restricting it of any movement. Taking advantage, the boy used his right arm to lift the construct's appendages, so that he has a clean swipe across its entire body, striking at Anahata, Manipura, and Svadhishthana, all in one go.
SHIKK!!
The Statue's body has its injuries split down the middle, cracks made across its very being, stumbling back as it recognized the seals that bind around it were being loose. Only one and a half chakras remained; Vishuddha, and the other half of Muladhara. The Card Magician leapt himself back, taking a deep breath, regaining himself with his two appendages remaining, watching the damage he left at the Construct. It would break the seal that binds its arms with brute force, yet it did not matter. The damage was already done. The two made enough space between one another, staring down at each other, letting them take reprieve after such a clash
Despite seeing its blank expression, Harvard can imagine it was smiling, being so close to be freed, being so close to let loose once more.
