"So.....why exactly does he need to fight him?" Fiona asked, confused to the teens at how such a conflict was made. "If all he needed was to be free, we can always just break it ourselves, y'now? You boys have magic, yeah? You can just as simply jump in and break it yourself." Such a questioned was met with Stolas' laughter, echoing across the mouth of the cave they resided. The other two would chuckle amongst themselves the same, with Fiona being even more confused. "Wha- Did I said something funny or...?" She would question.
"Yeah! You absolutely did!" Stolas would answer, barely able to hold back laughing at such a silly request further. "You're telling me you never wanted to see your idol firsthand and show them how much you came?"
"Eh?! That's what this is about?!"
"Well, Duh! What else would it be?" Stolas would struggle to keep it together before crossing his arms and continuing. "I mean, look at him! Look how far he's come! Look at that stance! Those eyes! That burning soul that keeps going, no matter what the HELL comes his way! Really look at it! That's the sign of a Man growing! A Man Fighting! A Man that's LIVING!! That is something that everyone should be, and I've seen people who can reach that far! I've even seen a Lady kick my butt like it was barely a threat before we decided to give it one hundred percent! That is what it means to be a Man. To be strong without any handicaps, without a need for a head start! That is what he is!"
"A Man shouldn't be afraid of something like this! To fight on an even ground! He has already seen it, just by existing alone!"
With such praise being given by Stolas, Harvard couldn't help but chuckle along with his friends. Despite the Dusk shrouding his vision, he can still see it. He swore that it felt like a hallucination, but it was before him. The very people he's willing to save standing by his side, cheering, begging, nay, pleading for his survival. The brisk, warm wind hitting his face, slowly giving him the reality check he needed. The sky slowly illuminating with the millions and millions of stars, acting as little lights staring down, giving everyone their vision. He could almost imagine the sun rising next to him, once this battle was over. He can hear it. He can see it. He's breathing in the same space that they shared.
He has finally reached his own World of Man.
He'd regenerate his own hand before casting the same spells again, starting to finally feel its toll. Hard fusing two monsters is an absolute tax towards his energy, yet he still pushed onwards. He'd have his new claw hand infused with a different monster, one in solid red with a different set of lines. Uru. As he'd approach the Cracked Statue, it would share the same feelings and try to storm forward just as much, digging its soles onto the pasture, sprinting forward like a well-shot arrow. Harvard would be racing across the grassy field like a savage animal, in contrast, almost even going on all fours before walking upright to try and do a solid leap. The Statue would match it with digging its hands on the ground and unearthing the area, lunging the dirt and blades of grass all over to serve as cover. Harvard merely cut the area once more, yet the Construct was taking a different approach, willingly being in the way so that it can catch his other hand and rip it clean off, almost doing the same attack the Card Magician did back to it.
RRRRRIP!!! THWICK!!
As the arm was cleanly ripped out of its socket, a gushing flow of blood being sprayed, the boy gave no reaction and took aim with his other arm. The Statue took notice once more and attempted to do the same, yet would be met with a solid mass of string and webbing to entangle his arms and ensnare his neck, the last remaining part of the Chakra Magic bestowed upon it. The Statue would attempt to remove such webbing, yet the boy pursued, having him hang on to such silk and swung himself around, tangling over one of its hands as a result. The Statue would use the other hand to grab ahold and pull him closer, seeing that Harvard was coming from behind. In response, it would launch an elbow to strike and dislocate the very neck itself, as well as using the upper arm to prevent him from further turning in his desired direction. What it didn't expect, was for Harvard to adapt further, his stump that was once an arm beginning to twitch.
SHIKK!! KRACC!!
The Boy's arm grew back like it was barely a scratch, and his torso spun itself in the same direction as the strike to move around and land a chop directly onto its neck, the final Chakra point now struck down, the force being enough to break it apart. As he'd remove himself from the webbing and see the statue crack apart at every single point. As he'd see it fracture, he couldn't contain himself any further. His excitement was building, watching the construct stumble and break apart his solid prison encased around him. "He's coming! He's coming!! HE'S COMING!! You guys don't mind if I do the chant thing, right?" He'd holler at a distance.
"The what?" The boys would ask, yet Harvard would do it anyway, as the prison began to break.
"Rising! Raging! Sparking! SHINING!!" Harvard Began, as the Barbarian's stonework build began to shatter, finally revealing himself.
"The Warrior of Truth Stands before~!"
"So be Sure to Make Way!"
"He who's Stands, He who Wields~!"
"The Power's In his Hands!"
"ARAWAREU!!! The Greaaaaaatest Warrior~~♪"
"OF GA! LI! LEEEEEEEEEEEE~~♪!! "
"YOSHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!" He'd scream in absolute joy, with GWOG Taking a firm stance as the wind blew, his leather armor and fur-like cape flowing freely, his hair blowing alongside. His hands would don gauntlets, as well as having a hilt on his side, holding his almighty blade. He'd even strike a few poses while Harvard began to sang, with everyone shocked at how far the kid was going in theatrics.
"OH SO NOW HE GETS THE ENGLISH LYRICS!" Solomon would complain, before the boys began to laugh as GWOG approached the group.
"So....you're the kids who wanted to oppose the tyrant, eh? Nice to meet you all! Your worries shall soon disappear, because I....am now here!" He'd state, his confidence almost intoxicating. Harvard would squeal like a child as he'd go all over the place, his excitement knowing no bounds.
He really was here. They hope he lives up to the hype.
