Chapter 313: The Saloon

The two kids would try to enter the Saloon-esque tavern after being given such a story, being met back with all sorts of familiar shapes. The craftsmanship of wood that lined the tavern's tables and doors. The soft hum of lights that illuminated the area. The warm air that breathed from outside in. The two would take in such a nostalgic sight, exploring the tavern, ducking under the tables and trying to chase after one another, a break from everything, before sitting themselves on the bar table, with looking at a hallway. Such a hallway had a sign, one that he was extremely familiar with, one that prompted Beaux to follow and read it. "'World of Man' huh? Taking a guess that this is what awakened you, yeah?" She would ask.

Stolas nodded like a madman at her answer. "YOU SHOULD'VE SEEN IT, TOO! BILLIONS AND BILLIONS OF STARS FLOATING, MILLIONS OF PLANETS IN THEIR OWN LITTLE GALAXY! SUPERNOVAS AS BIG AS YOU CAN IMAGINE! ITS PARADISE! I really wanna experience all of that again, even if it's only once more, even if I have to sacrifice my entire life for it. It was AWESOME!" He'd shout, using his stars as a presentation, prompting Beaux to laugh at his enthusiasm, as well as him darting around place to place, using sounds to re-enact certain events he's seen in his own personal world. "What about yours? What's yours like?" Stolas would ask, quieting the Crow, making her ponder at his question.

"Actually....What WAS mines like...?"

"You don't remember?"

"Having to fight someone with your life on the line makes the experience a bit harder to pay attention to.." She'd chuckle a bit, though did had an idea on how to experience such again. She would try to approach the hallway, slightly entering it, feeling its soft wind. Stolas would grow concern at what she was doing, yet Beaux simply looked back and explained herself. "When I was fighting them for my dad, I only got a mere glimpse, never the full thing. This IS a place where you can awaken it, right? If we're lucky, we can get away with seeing yours as well..."

"...Deal!" Stolas would try to follow into the hall, unafraid of what's coming. As the two trekked across such a hall, the droning sounds and soft lighting were disappearing almost instantly. What replaced such was of laughter, the clattering of glass, the ricochet of balls against a table. Stolas and Beaux both investigated the rooms, being met with different spots of the tavern. Some playing pool, others talking amongst themselves about a race coming up a few days from now. Some were throwing darts, others were arm wrestling, and even a few would laugh and sing along, a drinking song that would make the tavern roar in applause and cheers. Stolas would smile and try to join in with these people in each and every room, whether by dance or by song. Beaux, meanwhile, simply watched in awe at each and every person that lived here. A feeling was burning from inside her, the more she explored and feel such nostalgia she never thought she would have. Such a feeling was not pride, nor joy. Such a feeling felt so off, yet it felt so warm that she doesn't want it to ever leave. Once she met up with Stolas, watching him sing a sea shanty, she'd try to join with him in such a serenade, chanting along, dancing the same jig, laughing as they'd be picked up and tossed in the air, before being caught again and again.

It was like heaven for Beaux.

As she experienced such wonder, such excitement being at a peak, everything would stop. The two children would be falling, landing themselves on an animal, running across a large, green field. Horses were piling more and more, beasts that ran as fast as the wind can take them, whilst the horizon illuminated with the immortalized sun on their side, its smile brimming extra wide for them. Beaux was loving each and every second of such a state, seeing by her side such winds take the shape of her people, all of them running, all of them with their arms wide open and having a chance to properly fly. Stolas would try to turn such an experience into a race, holding onto his own horse as he'd create Sagittarius. Beaux took notice of such an initiative and would nod to his challenge, an atmosphere being made around her own arms; Saturn. As they rode their stallions across the plains, the two would duke it out once more, taking aim and firing at each other, with Stolas pulling his horse back in order to evade the rings and try to jump over them if they ever try to swerve into its legs, and Beaux pushing forward in order to take both the lead and a better aim to fire back with no mercy. Despite playing such a dangerous game with one another, sometimes even clashing against each other's beasts to throw a punch or two at one another, they can't help but smile at the world that was made.

Beaux's eyes began to sparkle as she'd breathe such fresh air, watching the terrain change into the desert-like dunes of Salvandi. "This....is my World...?" She'd ask herself, a rhetorical question, yet Stolas would still answer with a nod. As the sun drifts off across the skies, the moon slowly rising, an even more beautiful sight lied before them, one that would merge with Stolas' World of Man.

Stars.

The billions and billions of stars, all of them illuminating before their very eyes. It was like an ocean of splendor, one that rivals even the most legendary of treasures and artifacts. As they tried to reach up to such stars, imagining themselves touching it with their very tips, they started to rise. They rose higher and higher, the horses escalating as if scaling a mountain.

They were flying.
