Chapter 319: Remember, Part 4

BAM!!

A Gut punch that would reel the Nobleman back, followed by an uppercut to his Jaw. Stolas was not letting up for even a moment, using the stars to push him forward and continue with beats after beats, trying to prevent him from casting another spell. Despite not feeling such impacts, Griffos' body was starting to wear down, forcing him to scatter into millions of flies to evade the next attack, casting a rune on each and every one of them, surrounding Stolas so that the rune's magic would encompass the area.

Uruz.

A Rune that started to quickly crush the Avian underneath such weight of strength, slowly but surely sinking him down, his body slowly caving to the pressure at hand. Despite this, Stolas still kept trying, forcing his body to rise and set up the stars, looking for a way out of such a prison. Griffos, meanwhile, would set up a seal and cast a wide variety of chains and thorns, tethering them straight through the mirrors, a quad spell set-up with the Mirror Ritual, letting them absorb the energy from such realities and transferring them directly into the seal, another monster escaping from beyond. Stolas was losing time too much, digging his talons onto the dirt, feeling and tapping at the earth while he formulates an idea.

That was when his eyes widened and found the solution.

He'd allow his body to give in, his stars quickly piercing down the earth, digging himself deeper and deeper. As he did, he'd shift his body in a different direction, firing a star straight at the large mass, letting it expand before it returns back to sender. Griffos would also recognize his stratagem, but he was forced to focus his efforts onto the Seal to summon another monster than to push the assault further. As the star grew, the flies were quick on scattering back up, evading the heat being released from the big ball of gas. "He dug himself down to avoid being affected....Damn it all, why didn't I thought of that!? My superior intellect should've took that advantage first!" He'd yell at himself, mentally kicking himself as he'd try to have a new monster come down to finish the job. A monster with an ink-like sludge pouring out of whatever orifice exists, a hideous mound being tethered to the seal like a lifeline. A Monster with a massive build, its arms stretching out and its head increasing the longer it exists. A shambling mass, with a hanging jaw and a singular eye.

Azathoth.

An illusion was set up again, yet Stolas would simply scatter the stars on his body, as well as expel some more, recreating Aquarius to surround both beasts, making the Hand of God to grip them and pull them close, watching Azathoth wind up for a haymaker to send Stolas across the skies. Stolas, anticipating the impact, simply dragged the Nobleman in so they both be struck down by the beast, their bodies flying, with the Avian using Griffos' body to block the blow directly, watching a gaping hole be made onto his stomach, a breach against his scales. Griffos would retort by a palm strike, a spell being casted, as he'd try to land himself straight back down, rolling against the ground, directing Azathoth to charge forward and keep up the offense. He'd get back his smile, finally thinking he's got the Avian on the ropes, his legs and knees wobbling as he'd try to see with his own eyes the fruits of his labor.

"Fire for Venus, Water for Neptune, Nothingness for Mercury! GOOD LUCK!"

Griffos' smile immediately dropped when he'd see the two boys swap places, Stolas having his own momentum be pushed further once the two met and switched. Harvard's gaze would be caught by the massive mound, quickly being subjected to its magic, insanity leaking into every inch of his body, his mind fracturing as he would see the very end of his own world. Despite such a traumatic sight, not only did Harvard pushed forward, but he aimed to take the beast itself, a card in his hand as he'd try to match the punch being delivered from the Blind Idiot. "FU! SION!!!" He'd cry, absorbing the beast into his own body, his skin and clothes melting into the same tar-like substance it once possessed, melding the two together as a hideous hybrid of flesh and cloth. Eyes were grown from his chest, his shoulders, and his left cheek. Jaws were forming on his hands, as well as his fingernails curling into claws. His mouth was opening wider by each second the fusion took hold, a second set of teeth emerging, jagged enough to clash with his first, or even scraping his mouth altogether. His wings that were once bone were now instead a mass of tendrils, teeth being lined up as feathers. His eyes containing an iris of a star, tracking the Nobleman and winding up a massive punch. All Griffos could do was watch, as he'd experience the same imagery Harvard was subjected to, the very end of the world before his eyes, unable to respond to such a cataclysm, only stare at the very nothingness before him.

BAM!!!!!

A punch straight into his mouth, enough to rip half of his cheek with the impact, breaking through the scales and watching the Nobleman bounce off of the ground, watching his body fly. As Harvard landed, rolling across the ground, he'd look down and try to admire the grotesque design of his new body, watching the eyes look around like mad, the miasma twitching and furling itself, tendrils trying to escape and form as weapons around his arms and hands. "Ok, note to self, use this for Halloween." He'd mutter to himself, yet as he would approach the Nobleman to try and finish the fight, winding up his punch again and letting his arm extend through the miasma to attack at a longer range...

SPLASH!!

A large amount of blood was spilled out. Harvard looked behind him, watching his friend be scarred in the same manner. Griffos' laugh echoed across the realm, as he'd get up, wiping the blood off of his lip.

He was ahead of the two by miles away.
