A Time For Action - Part 2

"We move?" Borne asked. "Is good time, no?"

"We're running out of that. Time, that is," Northy said. "You better be ready, lad."

They'd already unhooked their weapons from their belts. Their shields were up in front of them as they stood their ground. Vol could feel Blackbeard's eyes on him from behind. He was only a short distance away. He'd likely overheard some of their conversation, and had likely guessed at their involvement in some of the strange events that had occurred. But beyond the gaze of Blackbeard, he was distinctly aware of the presence of those important men and women that stood on the balcony, namely, the Lady Grace, who he was so sure had locked eyes with him earlier.

Now he knew Lord Feltan was there too. It was a gamble. A possibly embarrassing one, if it fell through. Despite being so fearless in death, it required a few moments for Vol to work up the courage to do the only thing that he could conceive of.
