Bella Scott looked at Mila Gray and asked, "Mom, didn't you not object when Mr. Scott said he wanted to marry me off to Jordon Brown before?"
Wasn't it a little too late for her mother to worry about these things as her wedding approached?
"That...that was..." Mila Gray stammered.
As she looked at Bella Scott, she couldn't help but remember her daughter's innocent and playful days and felt bitter in her heart. Bella Scott had gone through so much hardship because she had a useless mother like her.
"Bella, lets not get married. You can run away anywhere, just don't marry Jordon Brown. While everyone's attention is focused on the main house, hurry and go as far away as possible," Mila Gray said, helping Bella pack her clothes and taking out a bank card, "There's a little money in here, enough for you to live on for a while."
"Mom, aren't you coming with me?" Bella Scott flipped through the bank card, secretly amazed that her indecisive mother actually had savings.
