Chapter 99: The Bridegroom Doesn't Come for the Bride_1

Charles White's assistant reminded him, "Mr. Charles, it's time to go to the Scotts' to pick up your bride."

Charles came to his senses and nodded. He left his house, got into the wedding car, and led the procession to the Scotts' house.

Everything went smoothly until he stood in front of his beautiful bride.

Elyssa Scott saw Charles coming to fetch her and looked shy and nervous. From today on, she would be Charles' wife, and no one could separate them - not even Bella Scott.

Charles went up to Elyssa and picked her up horizontally. The onlookers from the Scott family applauded when they saw this scene.

Friends and relatives of the Scotts had all arrived, except for Miss Kallie, who was abroad and could not attend the ceremony. Everyone else was there.

Charles searched the crowd subtly, but Bella Scott was nowhere to be found.

Looking troubled, he carried Elyssa Scott downstairs and out of the living room, to see Bella Scott rushing over.
