When a slime receives fatal damage, it doesn't die immediately. Instead, it turns into several blobs of gel and activates its 'Regeneration' ability, slowly coming back to life. Since Xia Mi had set a rule against lethal force, Lureia could only watch as the slime resurrected time after time.

After its fifth regeneration, its ability entered a cooldown phase. This time, the slime truly couldn't regenerate.
