Don't Kill Me Off That Quickly

I spent most of my life in the village, where life is a bit tougher. Everyone works hard and has a strong physique; even the women there are mostly robust, easily lifting sacks of rice weighing tens of kilograms without any problem. Women who will hit, punch, and kick if they feel hurt.

Meanwhile, in this city, I only live in Luminescia and have acquainted with very few people, except for the customers and those related to my job. I don't have any friend other than Michelle. And while Michelle is a strong woman, Nadia, I'm not sure. She seems so fragile, and I just want to protect her.

"Miss, I'd be happy to listen if you'd like to share," I took the initiative to start since Nadia seemed silent, doing nothing but sipping and staring at her eve drop. The melancholic tunes from the bar sounded, lulling the ambiance.
