Lily The Little Ghost

I thought it might be just an illusion. Slowly, I pushed my bicycle towards the front door, and the young child sitting by the side of the door remained motionless. Her eyes remained fixed straight on the road. This girl couldn't possibly be an ordinary human as she didn't move at all, almost like she wasn't breathing; her beauty was akin to a lifelike doll.

Creepy.

I had no idea how to deal with ghosts; I wasn't skilled in that regard, and this was my first encounter. From what I remembered, as long as I didn't bother them, they wouldn't bother me. And if you see a ghost, it's best to pretend you don't. I tried hard to remain calm while opening the door, but the keys slipped from my trembling hands, and the child still sat there, motionless.

"Oh God…" I thought. It'll pass, it'll just pass, I reassured myself, opening the house door. We wouldn't bother each other.
