BtP in the Past

A male voice suddenly emerged in my mind, "You shouldn't mess around here, friend." I felt an energy connection from the man in white linking to me, just like when Xian communicated with me through his thoughts.

"Sorry, just joking," I responded and promptly channelled energy around me, forming a protective barrier. I could sense the man in white's energy trying several times to penetrate my energy wall, but failing, he eventually turned away.

"Who are you!" a female voice resonated in my mind. I felt an energy similar to mine, but denser, radiant and light, emanating from the direction of the blonde-haired woman walking towards me. She was followed by two men dressed in black and another in a striking blue. I took a deep breath, trying to bolster my protective energy to resist her, but it was all in vain. She effortlessly penetrated my shield with her energy.
