Remember

Recalling Xian and Lily, I immediately channeled my energy in all directions to detect the presence of Xian and Lily. My energy radiated outwards, sensing that everyone here was a superhuman.

'All of them were superhumans without the BtP arm band!'

On some levels upstairs, I detected more superhumans but found no traces of Lily or Xian's energy. If they weren't here, there was no point in lingering. Mingling with superhumans, none of whom wore the BtP insignia, was the worst idea I could think of. I wasn't sure if they were friends or foes, especially since my last encounter with them left a bitter memory. My spaghetti order arrived, but my appetite had disappeared; yet I felt it'd be wasteful to discard it, considering I've never been wealthy, past or present.
