Intruder

The air felt cold, and the surroundings looked quiet as I stood in front of the Shangri-la Cafe under its dim light. The time showed 02:35, and I took a deep breath, channeling my energy to envelop the entire place, trying to detect any superhuman energy inside the cafe building. I wanted to barge in immediately, but with Almaria and Xian present, I would end up like a kitten entering a bear's den. I only have one life, and I need to use it wisely; if I can't save Nadia, I might end up dead. Not long after, I managed to trace a familiar energy signature.

Lily? 

I looked up, flew to the third floor, and entered a balcony of the Shangri-la Cafe building. There were two sliding glass doors closed off by curtains, and I could sense two energy signatures inside the room. One was Lily, and the other was a superhuman whose energy was somewhat similar to mine.

Almaria and Xian had energy more or less similar to mine, but at a higher level.
