"I've spoken with the head of your division. You can ask him directly if you have any questions. And stay away from this case," Maxim commanded.

"Sir, what are you hiding?" Peter asked, staring intently at Maxim, not accepting the treatment.

"You may leave." Maxim pretended to be engrossed in the paperwork on his desk and no longer acknowledged Peter. Peter knew he wouldn't get any answers here and promptly exited the office. If Maxim thought he'd give up and obey just because of this, he was mistaken. Peter immediately took the elevator down to the information and data center building to find Alice.

Peter swiftly entered the building, passing numerous rooms and desks until he found Alice at her workstation. "What's going on?" he asked.

Alice looked nervous and stood up, glancing around, "Pete, follow me."
