Rage Finds Its Victim: Regret

A guttural scream of despair erupted from my core, echoing hauntingly through the air. It sent ripples of unease among the passersby, who took hurried steps away, their eyes wide and filled with a mix of concern and confusion. A dark frenzy consumed me, and in a moment of sheer anguish, I repeatedly brought my forehead crashing onto the cold, unforgiving asphalt. With each impact, my blood painted stark crimson splatters on the gray ground.

Pain, more acute than I had ever felt, overwhelmed me. Emotions amplified, magnified, and intensified—each hatred, anger, desolation, and grief felt like it was magnified a hundredfold, strangling my very soul.

But from the deepest recesses of my heart, a new emotion started to emerge, consuming all the sorrow, the despair, and the crippling fear. All the darkness within began to coalesce, melding into a single, potent emotion.

RAGE.
