Chapter 27: The King and Their People

It was the best sleep she had in the past five years. Deep sleep, no nightmares, and no worries either. No one was breaking into her room to wake her up either, so no jolting awake in shock, she was allowed to take her time.

Last night was incredible and she hoped it wouldn’t be too long until they could have another night like before.

Elanor woke up in Azzoth’s arms, sore, but content. It felt nice to be held, but she couldn’t help but blush in remembrance of the things they did. Oh, the things they did.

To think that the sin of lust was THIS strong.

Somehow, she was falling harder for Azzoth yet becoming more terrified of Rostrada. She still had a bit of a grudge against the demon for sending the two of them spiraling but she was very glad everything had worked out so far.

She reached up to her neck, feeling the bruises he left behind and quickly covering her face with both hands. Azzoth had certainly not held back last night.
