The capital of Avarice was deep in the mountains, surrounded almost on every side by them, a natural barrier to enemies and with how demons were capable of flight they had no trouble coming and going like everyone else would. 


Aureus was a beautiful capital, full of color and life. It was vastly different from Strirus’s capital. 


For one, the buildings had an immeasurable amount of graffiti and murals painted on the walls and streets while the palace that contained the demon king remained untouched. 


However, the structure itself was aweing. A palace full of towers that stretched towards the sky full of archways and openings. 


“A lot of excitement takes place in the capital, from competitions to games, since the demon king’s been keeping the barrier steady there’s been even more merriment taking place to keep things exciting for him, so he doesn’t get bored being stuck in the palace.”
