Hearing Amden's answer, Lucas was startled and frightened.
He immediately asked in an anxious voice, "What condition?"
Amden replied in a reassuring tone, "Do not worry, Lucas. Everything will be fine."
Turning to Dramon, he said, "Grandfather, check her body."
Dramon nodded and gently took Luna's hand in his hands.
Within moments, his expression tightened, which only deepened Lucas's panic. Luna, too, began to feel anxious.
Clara frowned as she observed Dramon's reaction. She reached out to take Luna's hand to examine her for herself, and her expression too grew troubled.
The duo remained in silent for few moments which only increased Lucas' discomfort.
Clara sighed and explained, "Her body is overflowing with spiritual energy. Since she has not been awakened, her body cannot bear this excessive spiritual energy inside itself."
Lucas though did not understand the 'technicalities', he understood enough that it was a serious situation.
Eyeing Amden, Clara asked, "Since you're speaking so casually, you must know what to do?"
Although this condition was rare, both Dramon and Clara had encountered and known about similar cases.
The only method they knew was to awaken the affected person—but because of the excess spiritual energy, the chances of survival were very low. One needed an extraordinary amount of luck to come out of the awakening alive.
Amden finally replied with a grin, "Luna needs to be awakened to control the overflowing mana in her body."
This was the answer that the duo too knew but as told it was a risky move.
Dramon frowned and questioned, "But in the past, the chances of surviving an awakening were low. And how did she acquire so much spiritual energy?"
Lucas was nearly in tears as he listened.
Calmly, Amden explained, "This condition is like a double-edged sword. If handled properly, it offers many benefits; otherwise, it can cause great harm."
Dramon pressed further with intrigue, "What do you mean?"
"With the correct method of awakening," Amden replied, "Luna will be able to harness the benefits of the excessive spiritual energy."
He then turned to Luna, tapped her forehead, and said, "This is the Chaotic Spiritual Energy Circulating Scripture. Visualize it during your awakening—it will help you keep your spiritual energy under control."
After hearing this solution and explanation, Lucas finally calmed down.
The group then moved into one of the manor's training halls. Lucas and Luna sat cross-legged.
Dramon assisted Lucas and Clara helped Luna. They explained to the twins how to proceed with the awakening.
The awakening began and continued for a long period— 'monstrous' was the word to describe their talent.
While Lucas absorbed several spiritual crystals, Luna primarily channeled the overflowing spiritual energy within her.
Every member of the Vantistart family was astonished by the twins' talent. Many had assumed that Amden had taken them under his wing out of pity, believing they had little potential.
Then came the moment when their elemental affinities were revealed.
Three spheres—representing darkness, fire, and thunder—materialized before Lucas, indicating a triple element affinity. Dramon's jaw dropped at the sight.
Luna, in turn, awakened the ice, thunder, and wind elements—a triple affinity of her own. Everyone in the room was left bewildered.
Even Amden was stunned. Although he had expected extraordinary talent from the twins, this far exceeded his expectations. What he couldn't have predicted was that these two would become his most formidable weapons—capable of terrorizing the entire universe.
Meanwhile, Luna's condition improved significantly. Her body gradually became more tolerant of the spiritual energy, and over time she would absorb all the excessive energy inside her, returning to a normal state.
Lucas, on the other hand, was overjoyed to see his sister healing.
To him, Amden was nothing short of a god, and he resolved to serve him loyally forever. From the earlier conversation between Dramon and Clara, he understood that Luna's condition was not easily curable—and that it was Amden who had provided a safe method. Although Lucas didn't know how Amden possessed knowledge that even his grandparents lacked, he chose not to pry further.
Dramon laughed heartily, genuinely happy for the two children.
Amden then instructed Cilia, "Help them settle in and assign them their rooms. They will stay in the manor."
With Cilia's assistance, the twins were provided rooms adjacent to each other in the Vantistart manor.
Before departing, Cilia warned in a chilly tone, "Young master trusts both of you and has given you a chance. Cherish it well. If you betray him…"
Though she left her sentence unfinished, the warning was clear. While Cilia had not objected to Amden's actions, she was not yet ready to trust the twins completely.
Despite the warning, Lucas and Luna remained unfazed. They had already vowed in their minds never to betray Amden.
