Star Sky Academy

Star Sky Academy, the most highly rated institution, was widely regarded as the best academy on the planet.

Even the elite and the most powerful families—with no shortage of resources—sent their younger generation to this academy.

The institution not only provided exposure to the outside world and the opportunity to mingle with heirs from diverse families, but it also offered a stage on which to showcase their talents.

It boasted the finest instructors, whose experience, power, and talent honed the students' skills.

It was said that Star Sky Academy had only the best of everything—best students, best instructors, best resources, and best facilities.

Moreover, Star Sky Academy was reputed to be the most powerful organization on the entire planet, and its principal was considered to be the most influential human alive.

Even the elite families did not dare to cross paths with the academy.

In the academy's long history, it had never once involved itself in the power plays of these families.

The academy over the centuries had maintained strict neutrality without any exception. All kind of politics and family power was to be left at the entrance of the academy.

It was a place solely dedicated to educating the younger generation and nurturing their skills.

The upcoming entrance examination was the talk of the world, especially of the eastern continent where the academy was located.

It was a large-scale event witnessed live by millions, where the true prodigies of the new generation—the future powerhouses—were discovered and then refined within the academy.

At the dining table of the Vantistart family, the small household was holding their private meeting.

"Clove and Carter familt must be planning something," Dramon remarked with an angry snort. "They are not the type to keep quiet and swallow humiliation quietly."

Clara nodded and chuckled, "Let them plan whatever they want."

"As I said, I do not mind eliminating a few of them," she continued. "The message, we sent, to the Carters was definitely not enough, and if this also is not sufficient, I will send a few more messages."

Although both the Carter and Clove families were elite and wielded considerable power, the Vantistart family were not intimidated by them at all.

With two SSS Rank powerhouses along with the new scriptures and techniques from Amden, their own standing had reached another level.

The family discussed the various influential families and their possible reactions until the conversation shifted toward the upcoming entrance to Star Sky Academy.

Rexon inquired to his son, "What have you decided about the academy, Amden?"

Amden answered calmly, "I will not participate in the entrance test."

He added, "I see no reason to compete when there will be no challenge, and I desire no more fame than what I already have."

"I have decided to enter the academy through the quota provided to our family," Amden announced his decision.

He continued, "However, I have asked Luna and Lucas to take part in the entrance as commoners. The entrance exam will serve as the stage on which they reveal themselves to the world."

Although Star Sky Academy maintained a neutral stance, it generally enjoyed a harmonious relationship with the elite families.

To honour these families, the academy provided quotas that allowed powerful families to send candidates directly, bypassing the entrance test. Naturally, the Vantistart had a few recommendations.

The fact, however, remained that hardly any person from the younger generation of these elite families used these quotas, as the quotas were frowned upon.

It indicated a lack of strength to participate in and clear the entrance exam. Moreover, the exam was a platform where prodigies and heirs from elite families showcased their talent.

The commoners who participated often lacked the rigorous training and skills needed to truly compete with those heirs, who had meticulously prepared since their awakening and even before.

Consequently, even though commoners made up the majority of the candidates by sheer number, the top positions were always dominated by the heirs of the powerful families.

Meanwhile, amid all this conversation, Cilia wore a sorrowful expression. She was about to be separated from Amden, which deeply saddened her.

Upon her awakening, she had refused to attend the academy and instead trained within the Vantistart manor so she could remain by Amden's side. Lost in her melancholy, she felt her hand being gently squeezed as Amden's voice whispered in her ear, "Do not worry. I will come to see you regularly. Even if we are far apart, I will always keep you in my heart."

Cilia did not reply verbally, but a sweet smile and a small blush appeared on her face at Amden's comforting words.

The next day in the training hall, Amden was sparring with Lucas and Luna as usual. Amidst their session, he spoke to them about the academy.

Luna asked curiously, "Big Brother, is the test to enter the academy tough?"

Amden simply smiled and replied, "You will see."

Both Lucas and Luna wore determined expressions. Amden did not tell them that no one else in the test would even qualify as their competitors unless a true prodigy appeared.

He informed them, "The test will be held in the upcoming month. The exact date will be announced by the academy soon."
