Relationships

On the same evening as Scott came home from the agent, John had other things going on in his household.

In the backyard in his large garden. John was in the fire pit as he looked at the flames melting the snowflakes falling from the sky. He was also drinking hot cocoa as he was sitting on a log wearing his heavy jackets.

Looking at the flames, John was talking to himself. "Jonathan. I'm sorry I disappointed you. I wanted you to be with me forever. But I guess I can't have that can I?"

Laura then approached John from the kitchen bringing a kettle full of hot cocoa. "Hey babe! I brewed more hot cocoa for you! I hope you're not too cold outside!"

"Can you shut the fuck up! I'm trying to have a moment here and you're ruining it! So take your bimbo ass back to the kitchen and leave me alone!" John screams at Laura.

"Oh sweetheart are you alright? You seemed to be stressed. Maybe we can do a little cuddling in bed and that might change your mood a bit." Laura getting close to John putting her hands on his hands.

"I told you to LEAVE ME ALONE!" John threw Laura to the ground as she was really close to the flames.

Laura was hurt about it but instead laughed as she thought John was being nice to him. "Oh babe! You're so strong!"

John smirked at Laura. "You're lucky you're just a stupid little girl. If you were Scott, I could've used this fire pit and burned your damn face."

Laura did respond by just laughing as she thought John still liked her.

John then let her go. "Just go back home. I don't want you to freeze out here."

"OKAY!" Laura went home.

John couldn't handle the situation as whenever he remembered it, it reminded him of Scott.

"If you want to play that game Scott, then I'm going to play that game too." John used snow to put down the fire as he was heading to his car.

"Babe, I'm heading out. Can you please cook some dinner?" John heading to his "car."

"OKAY!" Laura putting on her apron.

John drove outside of Sunshine Valley heading to the nearest department store. As he drove, John looked at the rear view looking behind Sunshine Valley as he drove further away.

"It's been a while since I left the town." John talked to himself.

After parking near the entry of the store and walking in the store, John went to the toy section to look for something. However, it was difficult to find as it was still the New Year and many stores were still refilling their shelves after the holiday season.

Having difficulties, John walked towards the electronic section of the store to find an employee. As he saw someone on the counter, John walked towards him. "Excuse me, do you know where you would keep your drones at?"

"Of course sir, we keep them next to the televisions at aisle twenty three!" The employee pointed towards his left.

"Thank you so much sir." John politely spoke to the employee.

Walking towards aisle twenty three, John found the box that had a large drone that was the size of his torso. It was yellow and black to symbolize the color of the school as he was "The King of High School."

"This looks perfect." John then took the drone heading to the check out.

As John was waiting in line for the checkout, he saw on his right what seemed to be a mother and a child.

"But mommy I really want some chocolate!" The kid held on to the chocolate bar.

"Sorry sweetie, but we spend all our budget on our groceries. We don't have enough money to buy anymore food."

"But mommy!"

The mother then took the chocolate bar and put it on the side. "No means no sweetie!"

The mother then took her child's hand dragging him out of the store.

"But mommy! I want some chocolate!" The child is still being dragged by his mother outside of the store.

John felt bad as the child really wanted that chocolate bar. It makes him want to sympathize with him.

"Excuse me sir. Are you going to pay for that or not." The teenage employee gives an angsty expression towards John.

"Oh goodness, I'm sorry mam."

However, the teenager didn't care about John's apology as she just wanted her shift to be done as it was nine P.M.

"Anyway, I'll just have this."

"Whatever." The teenager checks John's drone.

"And can I also have this? I really want to surprise someone."

Outside of the store. John ran towards the mother and child as they were walking in the snow.

"Excuse me!" John waved his hand while jogging towards them.

The mother and child looked behind.

"I want to give this to your child." John then gave the child the bought chocolate bar.

"I saw that your son really wanted this, so being the kind person that I am, I decided to be generous today."

"Wow! Mom, can I really have this?!" The child looked at his mother.

With no choice, the mother accepted John's gift. "Of course sweetie."

"Yay!" The child then unwrapped the chocolate bar taking a bite out of it.

The child then swallowed. "Thank you so much mister!"

John put his hand on the child's head patting it. "No problem kiddo. I just want to see you happy. That's all."

John then walked back to the store walking towards his car. "Be safe out here you two."

"Thank you so much sir." The mother then walked home with her child.

As John walked towards his car, he saw a large hill that was near the store. As he looked at the hill, it gave him flashbacks to when he was a child.

"Hey John! One day, we should bring our sleds to that hill up there and see who gets to reach the bottom!"

"I don't know Johnathan. Wouldn't Mom and Dad be mad at us?"

"Who cares. Dad doesn't care about us, while Mom is on her business trip in Germany!"

"So what do you say!"

[Brother]

Back to the present time, John still looked at the hill remembering his brother.

"Big brother, I wish we had the chance to sled that hill together. I swear I'll avenge your death."

Meanwhile back at the mansion, Laura was cooking a full course meal with fresh baked Texas toast, a fruit bowl, a bottle of sparkling apple cider, pound cake, and most importantly, the lasagna that Laura was almost done cooking.

Laura hummed a tune as she was waiting to bring the lasagna out of the oven.

"Oh my god! I can't wait for John to come back home! He'll be so happy with the meal that I cooked!" Laura's voice is high pitched.

Suddenly, the oven made a ringing noise as the oven was done cooking the lasagna.

"EEEEEEEE! It's done!" Laura put on her oven mitts

She brought the meal out as its smell filled the kitchen and dining room. She smiled as she expected John to eat up all of what Laura had cooked for her.

"Oh I can't wait to see how much food he'll-" Laura was then starting to have really severe coughs.

The coughs started to worsen as she then coughed up more blood than before spilling some on the lasagna. She couldn't control her coughs to the point where she accidentally dropped the lasagna, spilling the meal and breaking the glass bowl.

After it spilled, Laura then broke out of character as she saw her cooked meal being spilled.

"Oh my god. No no no no no. I didn't mean to spill the lasagna. If John finds out I-"

"Find out what?" John appeared at the entrance door coming home from his "car."

Laura started to get scared as she saw the lasagna being spilt as well as blood on it. "Oh John, my sweetie! I didn't know you were coming home this early!"

"I was only outside for three hours, you dumb bimbo." John walked to the kitchen to see what the loud noise was.

When John came into the kitchen, what he saw was his dinner being spilt as well as Laura's blood being coughed on it.

"Babe. What happened to my food?"

Laura started to get nervous. "Well you see. I was cooking your meal and-"

"What. The fuck. Happened. To my meal?" John started to get angry.

Laura had no choice but to tell the truth. "Babe! I didn't mean to spill your dinner! I got sick and I started to cough out blood. I think I need to see a doctor."

"A doctor? Tsk, nobody needs a doctor in Sunshine Valley. We should all be happy no matter what our situation is. Besides, there are no such things as doctors in this town."

"But babe please! I need it!"

"Can you shut your BITCH ASS UP!" John grabbed her arm and punched her in the gut so severely that she started to cough out more blood, bending her knees to the ground.

"If you want to be 'sick', then I might have no choice, but to end our cheerleading season early and maybe replace you with the dance team. I think your time has come to an end."

John then left the kitchen heading back to his room.

On the ground, Laura started laughing hysterically as tears were slowly coming out of her eyes.

"HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" Laura laughed really heavily as she slowly went insane.
