VIS GAZA

"Good morning Joseph." The baby opened his eyes. The two maids were standing over his crib.

"Oh please Bonum," the baby smirked. "My name's Vis now. We can't have you accidently said the wrong name, can't we?"

"Hehe, right right. Silly me." Bonum went and picked the boy up.

"What time is the sunrise today Pecca?"

"Let me check." Pecca closed her eyes. Her eyelids suddenly glow. "We still have a few minutes. Do you want your breakfast while you wait?"

Watching Pecca and Bonum deviously smiling, made Vis sighed. Drinking from a bottle is quite embarrassing for an adult. He may look like a child, but he's a grown man at heart.

Pecca handed him the bottle of heated up breast milk. As he was sucking on the bottle, the three of them made their way to the verandah of the nursery.

"So Vis, you've been here a couple of months already. Got a plan to stop the big war?"

The baby chuckled. "I think so. Though, it would be great to have both of your magic to help."

"Ceh," Pecca smacked her lips. "You know we ran out of magic already. We had to possess these two maids just to stay close to you."

"Oh yeah. You are tethered to my life force, right? I forgot about that." Vis smiled a wicked smile.

Peccatum and Bonum knew Vis was teasing them. "You're just our battery, your majesty. Don't get cute."

"Awhh, I am cute aren't I? Always have been, always will be."

"Yeah, sure. Anyway, better make sure the plan worked. Whatever it is. Or we all will be dead. And me and Bonum will be charged with treason, and be decommissioned."

"Relax. I'll tell you later, okay? After mom and dad went to work. Now let us enjoy the beautiful rising sun."

That morning, as it had been since  he was reborn, Vis Gaza enjoyed the sunrise. The view he cannot afford during his previous lifetime.
