Demian paced back and forth, his anxiety rising with each step he took. Lady Shana had left to alert the Headmaster and the Visia's Guild Master. Being stuck, unable to do anything, was driving Demian mad. All he wanted to do was to go to Remi and save him, but he had no clue where to even begin looking for him.
"Will you stop that," Dane growled at him. His hands were closed around the hilt of his sword and the veins in them were visibly popping out against his dark skin.
Demian had to remind himself that he wasn't the only one wracked with worry. Dane, Remi's knight, and Lady Shana, Remi's friend, were also filled with worry. And Remi's family will be devastated once they find out that something has happened to him.
"I don't know how you can stay still," he snapped back, even if he didn't mean to. He was on edge, feeling scared and completely useless.
"It's better than wasting energy."
