Deliverance (1)

"I've been here for twenty minutes and have yet to have someone come."

The group stopped. A young nobleman came out of a private confession room, a scowl on his face.

Carlton fought his own scowl from appearing at the interruption. He wanted nothing more than to get to the secret underground prison and rescue his adorable baby brother but it was imperative to not be caught so early on.

Making sure his hood was covering his eyes, he stepped forward and turned a charming and benign smile onto the Young Lord. "How may I be of service to you, Young Lord?" Behind his back, Carlton gestured for the rest of the group to continue on without him. He would catch up with them when he could.

Carlton led the young nobleman back into the room from whence he had come. "Tell me your troubles and may the Goddess guide you," he said as soon as they were sitting down at the white table, the only thing in the room.
