"This is something I'll have to think about," Marco said, falling silent. The two waited, and in the blink of an eye, two years had passed as they sat at the same table. Time seemed to flow differently for such individuals.

"I can accept this, but I want an oath that you will guard the secret of this technique with your life and use it only as a study model." Kayden didn't hesitate for even a moment before swearing.

"I swear by the heavens to use this technique solely for study and to protect its secret with my life." Kayden nearly smiled, knowing he was deceiving two beings who might be even older than himself.
