Chapter 1-The accident

It was a very foggy night and the roads were empty Marissa and her parents were on their way home. In front of the family was a traffic light that was red. The closest vehicle to them was a big truck coming from the street on the left hand side. The light turned green before they got there so they went through the light, and just as they were doing that the truck made a sharp turn and crashed into the drivers side where Marissa and her Mother were sitting, and then continued down the street. The car flipped and went into a ditch nearby.

The father looked at his wife and daughter and saw they both had blood all over their face with glass sticking out all over with most of them just barely peeking through the skin. Marrisa had a big shard of glass sticking out of her side with blood all over it.

The father quickly grabbed his phone and called for an ambulance. "911 what's your emergency?" said the nice lady on the phone ," Hello is anyone there?" The lady said after a few moments of silence the father answered with a low raspy voice ,‟ PLEASE SEND HELP. MY FAMILY AND I HAVE BEEN HIT BY A TRUCK. MY WIFE AND DAUGHTER ARE TERRIBLY INJURED".

‟Sir, I am sending an ambulance to your location right now. Has anyone in the car with you died from the injuries?" said the nice lady ,"I'm not sure I'll check" the father said while feeling if there was a heartbeat coming from his wife and daughter,‟ at the moment my wife has a heartbeat but my daughter doesn't" ‟ok sir the ambulance and police will be with you shortly" the nice lady said. The lady and father stayed on the phone until the ambulance and police got there.

‟SIR WE'RE GOING TO GET YOU OUT OF THERE!" said the policeman the father doesn't answer,‟OK EVERYONE WE GOTTA GET THEM OUT OF THERE AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE!!"

Later that night Cleo received a phone call from the hospital saying her family was in a terrible accident and she needs to get there as soon as possible. She ran all the way to the hospital, asked where her family was being held and rushed to where they were. Cleo soon got to the room her family was in and flew the door open saying, ‟ WHAT HAPPENED! HOW DID THIS HAPPEN! WHY DID THIS HAPPEN!".

Now out of breath from the running she sat down at the side of her father's bed. ‟I don't know sweety it just happened" the father said as he started to sit up,‟all I know is that someone certainly is trying to kill us and has already gotten rid of one" the father said as he looked over towards Marissa's lifeless body. Cleo then looks over to see what he was looking at and realizes that he was looking at her younger sister.

‟You mean….Marissa is dead?" she said as she put her hands over her face in shock. She starts to get up and walk over to her younger sister's body, but then realizes she wouldn't be able to hold her tears if she saw her sister's lifeless face so she stays put. Then she remembers what her father said,‟What do you mean someone's trying to kill us?" she asked her father.
