The guy who lives next door!

 Chapter 7

[7:00pm]

The city was bustling with activity on a Sunday night, as urica Samantha walked hand in hand with her 4yr old niece. Amidst the chaos, she heard a familiar voice calling out her. It was her classmate back in the college, they quickly caught up with each other.

However, in the midst of their conversation, Urica realized that her niece was no longer by her side. Panic set in as she frantically searched for the little boy. Just as she spotted him across the street, the child made a dash towards her, oblivious to the incoming of a speeding motorcycle.

Time seemed to slow down as Urica watched in horror, unable to move. But just as the motorcycle was about to collide with her niece, a loud bang echoed through the air. When she opened her eyes, she saw the motorcyclist lying on the ground, bleeding. And to her surprise, a man was embracing her niece, shielding him from harm.

Overwhelmed with emotions, she approach the the man and checked on her niece. It was then that she realized the man who had saved her niece was none other than her neighbor from the apartment next door Achylys. Grateful and moved to tears, she could not control she self and sudden held the man, she thank him profusely.

Concerned for his well-being, she offered to take him to the hospital, but Achylys swiftly rejected the offer and turned away, but till then when Urica notice blood on the back of Achylys clothes it seems that a metal pierced at his back without him knowing, but Achylys was very hard headed and contravene with her, Urica glared sternly at Achylys, a warning for him to stop is reckless behavior. Soon after the police together with the ambulance arrived at the scene and Achylys had no choice but to obey and follow to the hospital.

At the hospital, Urica quickly instructed a nurse to get the necessary equipment to stitch Uchyly's wound. Urica samatha a 23-year-old resident doctor at Greatmed doctors hospital. Oversaw the procedure. After a short while, Achylys was discharge and quickly gathered his belongings to leave. Urica saw him and chased after him, eventually catching up to him.

"your already headed home? You can just rest in the hospital for awhile. Urica offered

"yeah, I have nothing to do here," he replied.

"that's great. I'm heading home too. Can we go together?

Achylys just remained silent…

As they walked together towards their apartment building, Achylys then suddenly asked about the boy he just saved awhile ago.

"oh, his all fine thanks to you, his my niece his mother already took him home. She was also very thankful and ask how can he repay your?

"its fine I didn't really do that much"

"but you got hurt while doing so, even risking your live just to save others.

"stop, bluffing me your words are making me cringe."

Despite bring neighbors for almost two years now, they hadn't talked that much before.urica suggested they become friends and ask she could question about him. 

Achylys agreed and introduce his self as first-year college student at Moon university.

"Moon university? You must be very smart?" Urica teased.

As she giggle at him.

But seriously how should we repay you from saving my niece? 

" I think your overreacting to much, i save him because it was the most optimal solution. If the motor had hit the child, there was a high likelihood that it would have hit me as well. Therefore, saving him was also a way of protecting myself. It wasn't motivated by pure nobility.

When Urica was about to reply but Achylys quickly intervene and stated:

"can I just peacefully walk quietly? Thank you.

That statement made Urica giggled. " really? Fine if you said so."

Achylys quickly glances at her but she just smiled and walked faster than him, causing achylys to sigh and scratch his head, feeling like she was making fun of him.

When they arrive at the building, before entering the room, urica asked Achylys if he was really okay.

"are you really all right now? You don't feel any pain?"

Achylys just wave his hand, telling her to go away.

"alright if you feel something strange just knock on my door and let me know."

Achylys just nooded and enter his room.

As achylys entered the room a smile was painted on urica's face.
